That lying, bragging, storytelling mountain man, and legendary discoverer of black nugget gold in the fiery furnace down by Salton Lake in California. Yes, no other than Pegleg Smith!

Leanne Boyd, Editor/Owner

US Prepared

Why We Must Teach Survival 101 ASAP!

This book is recommended by US Prepared, and after reading many reviews online, my copy is on its way from Amazon!

My Ishmael

Review

"Enthralling, shocking, hope-filled, and utterly fearless, Quinn leads us deeper and deeper into the human heart, history, and spirit. A very good friend recently passed away, but had often spoken of the issues in Hugh's posting... unexplained earth booms and particularly, increased solar activity. She often talked about certain areas being much safer than others, in events that are coming up, with our area in Arizona being one of greater safety. I am shamed to admit that mostly I didn't put much credence in what she was saying.

However, I am now running into things online concerning the booms and solar activity. Read and be forewarned:

Earth Booms & Solar Activity Rapidly Increasing

Cosmic Blasts Create Massive Disturbances

Aside from sorely missing Jackie, I now wish I could speak deeply with her, and this time, pay more attention.

Carson Enterprises has long been involved with helping people prepare for emergency situations. Our book, Hedge Yourself Against Distaster, was first published in the early 1970s. Still loaded with excellent advice, this would be a very good choice to add to your defense tool kit. Your TH'ing life will never be the same!

Rev up your th'ing gland (the one next to the adrenals, as in MAJOR adrenalin rush!) and turn up the sound on your metal detector! Here are some inner facts from

Cache Hunting Book 1

First off, there are far more caches that have never been recovered than there are that have been recovered. Many an accumulation of carefully hidden wealth is right where the hider left it.

Secondly, there are all sorts of sums being put down today.

Thirdly, those accumulations can be found. We all know of the accidental finds. It's remarkable when little boys find a box of money on the bank of a stream. It's marvelous when hard-pressed people dig over a million dollars worth of gold coins out of the edge of a broken septic system, as most treasure hunters know recently happened.

Good stories often come down over several generations. Many a treasure lead is tied up in obscure family oral histories. Grandfather may have known of a recluse, or of a local scandal, or something else that could be the red flag you've been seeking. It is the sort of tip you want.

It is not uncommon to come up with the name of some long-dead recluse, a miser only vaguely known in his or her day and now totally forgotten. Pay attention to such tales. Do your homework, then, and see if you can find any records on that person. If you can locate their property, you are long steps ahead.

One must learn to listen for the sound of money. Upon hearing such, some discreet talk can soon determine if deeper searching should be done. Open ears, remember, will do you more good than all sorts of open books.

Listen, look around, and keep your mind alert, and these sorts of tales will soon enough surface. Learn to be a little picky, and they may stop being just stories. For YOU at least: Let them go on being stories to everyone else.

Keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut!

One word of caution should be given. Even burglars can buy detectors! Many people, not just treasure hunters, are coming home to find floor and wall safes, cleverly concealed, torn open and rifled. Unfortunately, the way the #&*@ courts are today, you probably would not be wise to booby trap such a safe...

What to do, you scream in sheer frustration. You do the best you can, and you make up your own mind. Be obvious, if you can. The best place to hide something, it often has been said, is right out in plain sight. Obvious, but devious.

It's really simple. Find it, evaluate it, keep it safe, upgrade it, sell or trade it if the time or the opportunity is right.

Don't be married to what you find, either. You won't take it with you regardless, as the ancient Pharaohs have proven to us. Set your goals, and if that means cashing out your cache -- DO IT!

I can just hear Glenn right now... "WELCOME TO MY WORLD!"

Have An Adventure
EVERY Day!

Review: Cache Hunting

Treasure Hunting, Cache Hunting

Treasure Hunting, Cache Hunting

Cache Hunting -- It's Not Just About The Treasure -- It's About Passion

Consider "I" for ICON
H. Glenn Carson. The "H" should be an "I" ... in my opinion, and yours, too, and I'll tell you why. If you are reading this, then you are more than likely a Th-er, (treasure hunter), and you use a metal detector to fulfill a desire to find valuable coins and jewelry, and maybe prospect for gold, or hunting for caches of hidden goodies.

"I" ...
Glenn Carson's desire is not to find valuable coins and the like, that I've mentioned above, though he has enjoyed many years of doing so. Is Glenn a Th-er? You betcha' he is. But the man is so much more than a knowledgeable detectorist. I'm sure what I'm about to tell you, you already know, if you are a detectorist and salivate at the mere mention of information about the waving of the magic wand (Glenn's line). He said it, not me, but he's right -- a metal detector is a magic wand, in the hands of one with a passion.

"I" ...
Glenn has a passion that can't be categorized as just hunting for old coins and good things lost by others in the dirt -- hidden in an old house, or a new one, or barn -- or all of the other places people lose and hide things from probing eyes. Nope, if you know his works, and can see through the words, you can find the man. Look deep, and listen close... these are works concerning more than coins buried far under foot... more than using a looping search coil.

Spun Like Fictional Fairytales Of Adventure
Glenn was a teacher, and still is -- but through his books, which are written with passion, and you can't write well about something you aren't passionate about.

His words are full of passion -- and that is what makes his books so good. These non-fiction works are spun like fictional fairytales of adventure. Actually finding the treasure is only part of the fun. There is more, much more. Being a novelist myself, It is pure pleasure for me to read Glenn's works.

What More Could We Ask?
What more could we ask, but to learn from a -- shall I tell you what the "I" ... means now? -- Okay, ICON! In the Th-er's adventurous and passionate world, take a journey through, "I." Glenn's masterful works.

Cache Hunting is one such book. You would do well to get this book and learn what has been honed and mastered by someone with passion, who is willing to share his findings with you and with me.

Cache Hunting will teach you how to use your mind and intuitive thoughts to find treasure, with or without a metal detector. Written with both wonderful stories of discovery, to technical information that will help you find more treasure.

Research Is The Key
Research is the key to finding large caches of treasure hidden in the ground or a house or anywhere, really. And Glenn shows you in Cache Hunting, how to go about just that. Full of tips and techniques that give you a gentle nudge, and get your mind working about where to hunt and how to go about it in the right way.

The Treasure Jumps Right Off The Pages
What I really loved about the book, being a passionate Th-er who wants to preserve metal detecting for future treasure hunters, was the care with which we are taught to go about seeking treasure. Glenn, as we all do and should do, is an advocate for the detectorist code of ethics. Quite passionate about it. There's that word again. The stories about discovered caches are so vivid that the treasure jumps right off the pages, from exotic destinations around the world. Glenn knows his history when it comes to treasure, and you will too, when you get your own copy of Cache Hunting.

And no, you can't borrow mine. I value my book collection of H.Glenn Carson's works, as much as you do your best treasure hunting find. It's that important to me, and it should be to you, too. Glenn's works are a treasure trove of information that every Th-er should have. Cache Hunting is your head-start to finding what's hidden from the seeing eye, a benefit that the old timers didn't have.

The Legwork Has Been Done
ICON Glenn Carson has done all the legwork for you and me, in Cache Hunting. Learn from Glenn -- that which he has learned from years of work and research and from the old-timers -- this legacy he is passing on to us.

Think for a moment why he would do this? I'm a writer, so I know it isn't for the money. Why yes, he is passionate about it, and wants you to be, as well.

===
Written by: Ken Schneider
Author of Scent of Magnolias and Men,
and Magazine articles -- back issues of
Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine and
Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine

THE CACHE HUNTING BOOK ONE
2006 EBOOK EDITION
& SIX BONUSES

Buy this excellent book NOW
at Cache-Hunting.com Home Page

Don't miss out on this powerful treasure hunting Ebook! type='text'>Treasure Hunting Welcome

Treasure Hunting Welcome

Greetings to all of my Adventure friends out there! Many of you have been with me since the start, back in 2001 -- and many of you just discovered Waybill To Adventure! This blog and our home page are the Net presence of H. Glenn Carson Enterprises. Glenn is my Dad, who graciously, 5 years ago, gave me the go-ahead to take his treasure hunting legacy online. I am slowly taking all the Carson books into Ebooks. These products are greatly expanded from the originals, with much added content and bonuses.

Treasure hunting is an exciting area -- well, okay, you know that! Or you would not be visiting today. We just happen to believe that we have a unique angle on these topics. Indeed, Glenn Carson is an icon in the field. Our readers agree... take a look at this article about Glenn and his knowledge of the Treasure Hunting niche field.

Welcome aboard! Bookmark us and return often!

Have an Adventure every day!

Leanne Carson Boyd
Editor/Owner, Waybill To Adventure LLC

===
Treasure Hunting Welcome
